How do people do the traveling whisper in the "Whispering Gallery" at St. Paul's Cathedral, London?
I always heard that you can make your whisper echo aroudn the walls. How is this done? Is it a myth?

Its not a myth I've tried it! The whispering galley is basically part of the walls of the Cathedrals dome which are a couple of meters high, completely round and made out of stone. If you stand at one side and speak to the wall, and someone else stands at the opposite side of the gallery and listens to the wall then they will be able to hear what ever you say. Its hard to explain but... It kind of works because you are speaking into a semi circle which projects what you are saying, and the other person who is listening is listening to a semi circle which receives the sound. Also because the walls are hard stone the sound bounces of it better. It's the same principal as whisper dishes where instead of the the two semi circles of the cathedrals walls are used to send and receive sound, two dishes (like the ones on the side of your house to pick up sky TV) are used which do exacty the same thing.
